If something is broken, the two details that help most are which device you are on and which level you were playing. A screenshot beats a description every time. If you are on a TestFlight build rather than the App Store one, sending feedback from TestFlight itself attaches the device and OS automatically.

Common questions

Where is my progress kept?

On your device. The game has no accounts and no servers, so nothing about your campaign leaves the hardware it was played on. Deleting the app deletes the save with it.

I bought “Light the Beacon” and it is not showing.

Open Settings inside the game and choose Restore Purchases. Apple ties the purchase to your Apple Account, so it will come back on any device signed in to the same account, including a device you have not bought it on. If it still does not appear, mail the address above and say which Apple device you bought it on.

What does the purchase actually unlock?

Nothing you need to win. The whole campaign, the Long Watch, every tower and every difficulty are in the free game. “Light the Beacon” unlocks the soundtrack, the engraved sheet music and full-resolution artwork, and it leaves a light on for the people who made it.

My controller is not doing anything.

Pair it in the system Bluetooth settings first, then launch the game; a pad connected while the game is already open is picked up, but pairing it first is more reliable. PlayStation, Xbox and Switch pads are all supported on iPhone, Apple TV and Mac. On Apple TV a pad drives the whole interface, and the Siri Remote works on its own. On iPhone and Mac a pad drives the battle itself — the cursor, placing and selling, the special attacks and the wave — while the menus around it stay touch or mouse.

The music stopped, or the game is silent.

Check the mute switch in the top bar during a battle, and check that your device is not routed to another audio output. The score is generated as you play rather than streamed, so it never needs a connection.

A level is too hard.

Difficulty is per level, not per save. Drop to Easy for that one stand and go back up afterwards; nothing is locked behind the harder settings except the record itself.

Does it need the internet?

No. The whole game runs on your device, in flight mode, on a train, anywhere. There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
